Glorified Beanie Weanie

So, first off beanie weanie is what my family calls beans with hot dogs in it... You take a can of pork and beans... Add ketchup, barbecue sauce, cheese, and hot dogs... only this time I added brats instead of hot dogs, and then I also added peppers and put sour cream on top! It was tasty!!!

A Healthy Salad

My mom made a healthy Salad with lettuce, celery, carrots, and tomatoes... and then she put my favorite dressing on top! :)

Brats, potatoes and pickles

Brats are super good. Hands down. The fact that you can eat them like a hot dog only they are somewhat healthier for you. So, I cooked up some Brats and potatoes and had pickles on the side for mom and me! :)

Spaghetti with blue parrot sauce

So, my mom made this, but still.  There is a place in Louisville, Colorado called the Blue Parrot... when I was little I remember it being super excellent and delicious... Well, the last time I went it wasn't so great, but mom and I found their sauce at the store and decided to try it... so... result is that it was pretty delicious... Spaghetti...
And Broccoli with cheese is always good!

A hearty breakfast!

So, if there was one thing I learned from my grandma it was how to make a hearty breakfast. I wish I had a waffle maker. I would so make waffles from scratch... the key to a hearty breakfast is protien, grains, fruit, and dairy... Here is the breakfast I made for my mom on Valentine's Day.

Jambalaya with Zataran's

Many of you have requested Jambalaya... here it is..
I cheat. Zataran's has a box mix that is super good. I use it and add in andouille sausage and the cajun trinity... Celery, Bell Pepper, and Onion. you can also add garlic, and if you like it spicier add tony's! :) It's good to saute' the sausage and veggies before adding them to to the pot! :)

Peanut butter chocolate chip cookies AKA Rickeese's cookies

So, I got creative and wanted to make both chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. I couldn't decide between the two so, I did both.  My mom has a really awesome recipe for peanut butter cookies so, I just added the chocolate chips and man were they good. I might have to do it again sometime... The basics are that you need peanut butter, butter, (all the essentials to make cookies) and chocolate chips! :)

Vernon Roger's Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya

So, Vernon Roger was an amazing cajun cook we would watch on tv when I was a kid. I've posted the recipe on here. Message me if you wan...
